Wild Olives by Todd English Debuts at The Shops at Boca Center in Boca Raton, Florida Boca Raton, FL -- Foodies are buzzing about the award-winning cuisine of celebrity chef Todd English and his newest restaurant -- Wild Olives by Todd English -- which just debuted at the Shops at Boca Center in Boca Raton, Florida. While the complete dinner menu was introduced on November 24, 2009, the complete lunch menu followed on November 30, 2009. English, who is one of the most talented and celebrated chefs in the world, has formed an alliance with South Florida restaurateurs Lirim Jacobi, Dixon Li, and John Watson, and this talented team purchased Opus 5 as the site of their newest venture. The inviting interior has gone through a gentle facelift, thanks to comfy brown leather banquettes, painted cocoa walls sporting oversized, rectangular mirrors (with black frames) and colorful, modern artwork, and a distinctive dark wood and frosted glass structure which serves to smartly separate the lounge area from the dining room. The innovative, rustic Mediterranean cuisine is distinguished by high-quality ingredients and inventive preparation. A myriad of mouthwatering dishes, on the menu, include stellar starters (such as yellow fin tuna tartare, Carpet Bagger Oysters, and a Classic Caesar Salad with an eggless dressing); soul-satisfying grilled flat breads (from fig and prosciutto to shrimp and chorizo); and an array of hand-crafted pastas (such as veal agnolotti and tortelli of butternut squash). There is a fetching array of fresh fish (including Crispy Skin Florida Red Snapper, Herb-Crusted Salmon, and Pan-Roasted Grouper); Porcini-Crusted Organic Brick Chicken; and carnivores' dreams (such as Brown Sugar-Cured Bone-In Rib Eye, Osso Buco, and Marinated Grilled Beef Tenderloin). Sublime sweet treats round out any meal -- who could resist Vanilla Creme Brulee, Apple Cobbler with miniature buttermilk biscuits and Tahitian vanilla gelato, Yogurt Panna Cotta served with granola and caramelized pears, Chocolate Trifle with whipped cream, and Todd's Ricotta Cheese Cake? The latter is a true delight, which is served with pecan crumbles, a cranberry compote, and whipped cream. Wherever they dine, guests will enjoy the distinct hospitality and superb cuisine that have endeared Todd English, to legions of fans, over the last twenty years. Diners can opt for a quick bite at the bar, dine at one of the tables or banquettes in the sophisticated dining room, or choose a table on the patio, which is surrounded by woven, chocolate brown wicker chairs -- with striped brown and beige cushions -- and accented with whirring ceiling fans overhead. Lunch and dinner are served daily; lunch is served 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., and dinner is served Monday through Saturday, from 5:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. For reservations and information, please phone Wild Olives by: Wild Olives Website v2.0 Coming Soon
